Star Sabre

This was a class project for the Electronic Game/Simulation series. The course was about math and physics for games, but we took it a step further and actually prototyped a game. A few months later, one of my classmates pointed out a large studio game that was nearly the exact same concept! (Super Stardust HD) Goes to show no idea is truely unique, but it was very frustrating to see we that it was a very viable idea and a large development house did it first. I still think it's viable, but it runs the danger of being viewed as a blatant copy. This does happen a lot in the game industry however where the blatant copy will do better than the original.
